Vasectomy Party "Wulfgar Command" tape review

Throughout this, we get the occasional explosive shouts, more static chug, a few bleeps and blurts, but plenty of heavy, sick cyber zap and groan to satisfy the most ardent noise masochist. The whole thing has a moving, evolving flow not unlike the barreling of a line of cattle carts headed toward some futuristic death camp. the whole thing having an atmosphere of being tortured in an audio hell…but quite good, nonetheless. Music to stomp kittens by.

Sharp Tooth's 'Silently Judging" utilizes field recordings, recorded over a span of 3 months of being strung out, re-recording over the same cassette again and again and again, then manipulated and re-distorted into tape loops, creating a dense and intemperate wall of sound, all cloaked in analoque synth chirps and sub frequencies.

Lunar Fuzz EP features Brandon Cardwell, the not-so-quiet guitarist/songwriter/mixologist, originally from San Diego, CA. Brandon and Ibarra pressed record one afternoon in his loft space within the neighborhood of University Heights.

The jam right here mixes Cardwell's distinctive vocal and glide-guitar stylings with Ibarra's aloof, shoegazey, minimal noise-indused analog synthesizer/drum work. Check out their Sound Cloud and be sure to listen and download 'Ora', off the new Lunar Fuzz EP, limited 30 cassettes.
