Rotted Tooth Fest/Even The Flies Won't Touch You

I would like to announce the first Rotted Fest! This year the label is throwing a 2 day festival featuring many Rotted Tooth artists, plus a couple others who I really dig. The fest will happen in Chicago on July 19th and July 20th. Those of us who live in Chicago are familiar with Bitchpork, the alternate fest to Pitchfork. This will be taking its place this summer as Bitchpork fests are no longer happening. Tickets will be 8 dollars each night. "Fuck you, throwing a fest and paying 12 bands isn't cheap, asshole!" The venue will be kept secret due to the concern of police maybe shutting down the show. When you purchase a ticket, you will be emailed the address of the venue. This email will be sent out on July 18th, just to make sure none of you spill the beans. Only 100 tickets will be sold for each night. I would recommend purchasing one ASAP cause they will sell out fast. I am looking for about 6 volunteers to help out with the fest. Helping out will include collecting names at door, controlling the alley, helping bands load in/out, picking up beer cans, picking up even more beer cans, picking up even more beer cans. Volunteering will get you into the fest for free and you will also drink good craft beer and eat good pizza for free. First 6 to hit me up get it. Email me at rottedtoothrecordings@gmail.com. So... without further ado, here is the lineup:
Friday July 19th (Not in order/still undetermined)

Bitchin Bajas

Saturday July 20th (Not in order/still undetermined)

The Torn Light Records has all the gnarly details behind this brain damage inducing slab of misanthropy:

"Mid tempo to sludgy noise rock from Chicago, IL. Rectal Hygienics take their time stomping through 7 tracks of nihilistic, perverse and noise ladened rock. FFO: Rusted Shut, Brainbombs, Twin Stumps and the like.
Featuring ex and current boys of Socially Retarded, Sea of Shit, Hate Basement, Machismo, Abuse Patterns, CSTVT and SHARPTOOTH.
LP comes housed in a screen printed jacket with a fold out poster/lyric sheet. 300 copies one time pressing on black vinyl." - Torn Light Records

Hell Yeah!  Chicago's Rectal Hygienics unleash a platter of punishment in the vein of Twin Stumps, Rusted Shut and Brainbombs as stated above and you know we love us some attitude filled negative noise rock.  Rectal Hygienics are not here to play nice, as waves of feedback and flopping guttural bass riffs and pummeling drum patterns are held at bay by a barking bile filled growl spewing all things unpleasant to say the least.  Originally released as a mega-limited cassette, the RH duders have finally got this on vinyl just in time to never leave your turntable.  This is sure to piss off your neighbors as it is meant to played at the highest of volumes.  Viciously Recommended.

Sometimes I Get Drunk At Night

Charlie The Knife 'demo' review from sometimes i get drunk at night

Charlie the Knife is the solo project of Will McEvilly, the guitarist from CSTVT.  It's pretty exciting seeing anything related to said band come out, and this demo could really be a formal EP.  The sound quality/production is much better sounding than what a lot bands try to pass off as an EP.  Here is a description from Will:
