C'era una volta il West translated (Once Upon a Time in the west is a 1968 Italian epic spaghetti western film directed by Sergio Leone for Paramount Pictures (and with a whopping 5 million dollar budget) But the reason for this post is to introduce Ennio Morricone to those of you who do not know who he is. Perhaps an easy description would be an Italian David Axelrod. or does that belittle him? I Really dig the overall tone of his recordings and the soundtrack to C'era una volta il West is just as epic. Listen with headphones and a joint.
